For this property, we designed and installed a sleek, low-maintenance composite decking area, perfect for outdoor dining and entertaining. Built flush to the rear of the home, the deck creates a seamless transition from indoor living to the garden. The raised platform was carefully constructed to ensure clean lines and a durable, long-lasting finish. We also integrated new turfing to refresh the surrounding lawn, adding two stepping stones for easy access. The result is a stylish, practical space that elevates the look and feel of the entire garden — ready for year-round use with minimal upkeep.
Lymington, Herringbone Drainage System
This client was experiencing persistent lawn waterlogging, especially during heavy rainfall. To address the issue, we designed and installed a tailored herringbone drainage system to improve water flow and soil health across the garden. Using carefully laid gravel trenches in a Y-shaped pattern, we directed surface and sub-surface water toward a central collection point, dramatically reducing pooling and saturation. The system was discreetly integrated into the existing lawn for a clean, seamless finish. The result: a healthier, more usable lawn all year round, with minimal visual impact and long-term protection against water damage.
